An impression of the opening and closing event of the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam 2010

The 23rd and 27th of June 2010 were this year all about the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam. Cinerama Film theater, RO Theater and the city of Rotterdam celebrated the 10th anniversary of this Arabic film festival, a festival where the Arabic film world is in the spotlight. The 5 festive days kicked off on the 23rd of June. The festival started in 2001 as a small cultural project and over the years it has grown into one of the most important cultural events for the Euro-Arab cooperation. This year we looked back at ten successful years and we look forward to the festivals future, its growth and development and what is yet to come.

Arabic guests

The organization of the 10th edition of the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam hopes to attract several famous Arabic superstars to our activities. We have already sent the invites and are hoping to receive several famous guests who will either participate in our festival activities (artists, producers/film makers) or visit our opening and closing festivities and Dutch film fans (Arabic superstars).
